Panasonic Japan has finally confirmed the availability of the Raboo UT-PB1 Android-powered e-book reader. This gadget will be launched in Japan on August 10th, 2011. Priced at 34,800 Yen($442), the Raboo UT-PB1 has a 7-inch (1024×600) color touchscreen, a dual core CPU, an 8GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP camera, and a microSDHC card slot. Google is set to drop their very first e-Book reader ‘iriver Story HD’ that is based on Google eBooks, which means you’ll have direct access to over three million free and for-purchase Google e-Books via WiFi.
