Pocketbook A10 Android Tablet/ eReader Combo

Hong Kong-based multinational firm PocketBook International today unveiled its new A10 Android tablet/e-reader at the IFA event in Berlin. The gadget comes jam packed with a 10.1-inch (1024 x 768) TFT LCD display, the Google Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread operating system, a 1GHz TI OMAP 3621 single-core processor, a 512MB RAM, a 4GB storage capacity, and an SD card slot(up to 64GB). Measuring 244mm x 207mm x 15mm and weighing 670 grams, the Pocketbook A10 also features a 2-megapixel front-facing digital camera, Wi-Fi, and an optional 3G. Its 6600mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 6.5-hour of operation time. Pocketbook A10 owners can also connect to Bookland.net to browse and download free open source eBooks. Priced at €165 (around $240), the gadget features a 6-inch (800×600) e-ink display that allows dual-touch gestures like pinch-to-zoom.
