Nintendo offered this Wii Super Famicom Classic Controller to members of “Club Nintendo” in Japan and it’s supposedly extremely rare. No word yet on US availability. [Engadget]

Hirokazu Hamamura the head of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu’s parent company is predicting that Nintendo will unveil the next-generation DS at E3 2008 this summer. Hirokazu has not commented on the hardware or cost. [Gizmodo]

Ben Heck has unveiled the PlayStation 3 laptop. Weighing 16-pounds, it features a 17-inch LCD HDTV display, integrated keyboard, stereo speakers, USB ports, headphone jack, HDMI-DVI connection, and 60GB HDD. [Engadget]

Sony Japan has recently released the Firmware version 3.95 for the Sony PSP. This update offers two new features including the ability to add custom button configuration for PS1 game playback and to quit remote play with your Sony PlayStation 3 while still leaving the Sony PlayStation 3 on.
