JVC HD-58S998 - The Slimmest DLP In The World

JVC HD-58S998 - The Slimmest DLP In The World

Measuring at just 10 inches deep, the JVC 58-inch HD-58S998 is the skinnier plasma and LCD TV on both screen size and price. This TV retails for around $2,400.

According to the folks at C|NET, not at all. In fact, if not for a few geometry issues (the TV couldn’t display perfectly straight vertical or horizontal lines), this 1080p set would have been a near-perfect specimen. So unless you have eagle eyes, plan on staring at text/TV Guide menus all day long, or just don’t like fatties, this TV is worth a look.
