Asus has unleashed its new LCD displays which come in a widescreen (16:10) format. These LCD screens are available in 20 inch and 22 inch, a 1680×1050 resolution, 2ms response time, and the Asus Splendid image improvement system that automatically optimizes image quality for the best visual results. The 2ms response time is compatible with all movie and game freaks. Both the MW201U and PW201 will be the first displays from Asus to come with an HDCP DVI port. In addition, Asus PW201 features an integrated 1.3MP webcam, USB 2.0 ports, composite and S-video ports.

This widescreen display provides 1440 x 900 WXGA+ resolutions, 700:1 contrast ratio, a quick 5ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1.5W+1.5W speakers, and a 160 degree viewing angle. . Available next month with the price of US$340, this LCD screen measures 448 mm x 194 mm x 376 mm and weighs 10.1 pounds

The PTFBHF-19W is Princeton’s latest 19 inch widescreen LCD monitor that provides 1440 x 990 WXGA+ resolutions, 5ms response time, 700:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, and a 160-degree viewing angle. Measuring 448.2 mm x 196 mm x 377.5 mm and weighing 9.9-pounds, the PTFBHF-19W is priced at just US$295.

I-O Data LCD-TV241 is a 24.1 inch display that offers 1,920 x 1,080 resolutions, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time, built-in analog TV tuner w/PIP, touch sensitive controls, and a HDCP compatible DVI-D input. Its price is US$1,130. The LCD-TV241 will be available later this month in Japan.

This LCD TV will be available next month for US$6800.
