LG 1900R Features Unique Styling

LG 1900R Features Unique Styling

LG’s 1900 R LCD monitor has a crazy unique black and red design with a hole in it. Actually, the hole is not only there for an aesthetic purpose. LG’s home page says that when you turn on the light, red light comes on clockwise direction to make you feel the smoothness of the light. Aside from that neat yet useless feature, the 1900 R provides a 2000:1 contrast ratio and a 4ms response time. Check out its sisters the L 1900 Jar and and L 1900 Eclipse which also support similar crazy yet beautiful styles.

Next to impress is the picture’s sharpness, as all the subtle textures in the jungle levels of Ghost Recon on the Xbox 360 or a good high definition movie like Spider-Man 2 (recorded in HD from Sky’s HD service) are delivered with decent precision and without the accompaniment of distracting amounts of video noise. What’s more, the picture retains its crispness better than most budget models when there’s lots of motion to contend with, indicating one of the LCD world’s better response times.

LG 42LB1R 42 Inch LCD Display

CNet has a deep review of LG’s newest 42-inch LCD display, LG 42LB1R. It features 1366 x 768 native resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 brightness, 8ms response time, a built-in dedicated subwoofer, HDMI port, and a 178-degree viewing angle. Its price tag is US$2,544.22.

At the heart of the silver-and-black piano concoction is an HD-ready 1,366 x 768-pixel Super In Plane Switching LCD panel. This is rated with an above-average 3,000:1 contrast ratio and a more down-to-earth 500cd/m2 brightness. Coupled with a fast 8ms response time and industrial-leading 178-degree viewing angle, LG has itself a competitively specced TV which rivals most other entry- to midrange offerings.
