
Samsung Electronics and Giorgio Armani have collaborated to release the first 46- and 52-inch full HD TVs Armani/PAVV TV in the Korean market. The Armani/PAVV TV supports DNIePro(Digital Natural Image engine+) chipset, WiseLink, InfoLink and 120Hz Auto Motion Plus technologies. Samsung has rolled out its spanking new 9 Series LCD HDTVs. In case you didn’t know, these HDTVs are the 2nd generation LED-backlit LCD HDTVs that feature 1080p Ultra Clear panels, auto Motion Plus 120Hz technology, a superb 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an integrated networking technology, 4ms response time, and down-firing speakers. JVC will be shipping the 42-inch LT-42SL89 and 46-inch LT-46SL89 HDTVs fairly soon. They feature 1.5-inches, a maximum depth of just 2.9-inches at the panel’s center, a TV tuner, three HDMI inputs, two component jacks and one S-Video / VGA port to complement the USB picture viewer, illuminated remote and touch-sensitive buttons on the front panel. I love portable gadgets. One of them is the Samsung P400 Pocket Projector. The device is now available in the US. The projector comes in a glossy black finish and offers a resolution of 800 x 600, a contrast ratio of 1,000 : 1, and 150 ANSI lumens. LG’s new 47 inch Xcanvas David LED (47LG90QD) has been released for the Korean market. This HDTV boasts a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The new Xcanvas David LED adopts Aurora LED backlight with eyeQgreen function that enhance the brightness and video quality and reduce the power consumption by 70%. The Casio XJ-SC200 and XJ-S50 Pro-Series Projectors have been unveiled. Both projectors offer XGA (1,024 × 768) resolution, 2,500 and 3,000 ANSI lumens, DLP projection engine and VGA input. You can buy these new projector in August onwards with the price tag between $1,299 to $1,599. [DigitalBurn]

Check out Optoma’s new Pico projector that is powered by the DLP Pico chipset. This small projector will be available in limited distribution in Europe and Asia in late 2008, where a worldwide launch will begin next year. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing at this time.
