The 24-inch SyncMaster 245BW boasts a resolution of 1920×1200, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400cd/m2 brightness and a quick 5ms response time. The 22-inch SyncMaster 226BW comes with a low resolution than 245BW, which is 1680×1050, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, but with a faster 2ms response time. Samsung SyncMaster 245BW and 226CW retail for $550 and $380 respectively.

Samsung has announced its 94 series 1080p plasma HDTVs with WiFi features. The plasma HDTV features a 1080p display, 15,000:1 contrast ratio, 3 CEC HDMI ports, Ultra FilterBright light diffusion, 18-bit color processing, ATSC / clear QAM tuners, and USB connectivity. The 94 series of 50 and 58-inch will be available for $3600 and $5300 during the last quarter of this year, and the new 58-inch 84 series will have a price tag of $4700 this September. It’s pricy, but it looks so sweet.

Samsung has unveiled two new widescreen monitors in their SyncMaster series, the 22-inch 226CW and 24-inch 245BW. The SyncMaster 226CW has Wide Color Gamut (CCFL 97%) Color Innovation, 1680 x 1050 resolution, a fast 2ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio (dynamic contrast 3000:1), and 160/160 degrees viewing angle. The SyncMaster 245BW comes with 1920 x 1200 resolution, a quick 5ms response time, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 160/160 viewing angle, and optional speakers. The 226CW and 245BW retails for $380 and $600 respectively.

BenQ is rolling out its new 24-inch widescreen LCD monitor in the Korean market. Dubbed as the FP241VW, the LCD screen is actually a successor of BenQ FP241W which supports Full HD. The monitor utilities BenQ’s exclusive Senseye technology which offers further clear image for gaming purposes. It has several screen modes for gaming including “Racing game” and “Action game”… which sounds perfect to use with a PC(obviously) or a Playstation 3(when they finally release a game, that is). No word on pricing so far.

Good news for slouchers. Samsung has released a bunch of new widescreen LCD monitors that they’re calling “the Swan”. Thanks to the elastomer materials these beautiful Swans allow vari-angle viewing from different sitting postures while maintaining the best image quality. The 20 inch and 22 inch versions retail for $400 and $475 respectively.

Samsung showcased its new SPF-72V digital photo frame during the SEK 2007. The frame sports a 7 inch display supporting a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It comes in a variety of connectivity options and has a card reader (SD / MMC, Micro SD, XD cards), USB and Wi-Fi connectivity. The device can also playback MPEG-1/4 and WMV9 files. Pricing and availability of the Samsung SPF-72V is not known yet.

Samsung Electronics introduced its 27-inch wide monitor during SEK 2007. Known as the SyncMaster 275T, it offers 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 1920×1200 resolution. The screen also provides four USB 2.0 ports and various inputs like S-Video, component and DVI supporting HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection). No info on pricing so far.

Philips has announced a 20-inch 3D display that “designed to increase brand awareness and attention value of the product at point-of-sale locations”. The screen allows you to enjoy 3D effects without wearing 3D glasses. It based on Philips WOWvx technology and “helps professionals to create an amazing viewing experience using the latest technology to make content richer, more exciting, and more entertaining for the viewer so that it’s almost ‘real’.” Philips 20-inch 3D display be available from August 2007.
