
Designer Min Kong has created the Flat-Fold digital faucet that uses a capacitive touch sensitive panel and a fold out design to function. Its intuitive touch-sensitive panel allows you to customize water flow, pressure or temperature with a simple touch. The Flat-Fold is a cool concept that will hopefully hit the light of production. Panasonic today introduced four new members from the Nanoe Air Purifier series. Known as the F-VXG80, F-VXG70, F-VXG50 and F-VXG35, these models come equipped with a new power saving mode that is capable of saving up to 50% of energy consumption. The Panasonic F-VXG80 and F-VXG70 feature a new human sensor that will catch and kill viruses in the air only when someone is entering a room. The company will launch the F-VXG80, F-VXG70, F-VXG50 and F-VXG35 in Japan on October 10th, 2011. [Akihabara]

LG Korea has unveiled its new high-tech home appliance called the Smart Washing Machine. It comes equipped with an app for Android phones that allows you to control the washing machine from your Android smartphone. This app also shows a variety of functions such as status check of the laundry, changing scheduled time, preventing wrinkles and others. The LG Smart Washing Machine will be released in South Korea for 174,000,000 Won($165,000). [AVING Korea]

The Kicker Tea Tumbler from Kicker Studio combines a teapot, an infuser, and a water heater into a minimal tumbler that subtly incorporates technology to ensure that each brew yields the perfect cup of tea each time. The idea is to have a functional light stationed right above the dining table, so that you have easy access to routine dishes like plates and spoons.
