The new LG FB44 iPod docking station has been unveiled during IFA 2009. The iPod dock produces a total output power of 40-watts, which is more than enough for listening to music in a small room. The gadget also supports DVD playback with a 1080p upscaling and a HDMI port, so you can connect the LG FB44 to your HDTV. Logitech has recently released two iPod speakers, the Rechargeable Speaker S315i and Portable Speaker S125i. The S315i is a rechargeable speaker that provides you up to a full day’s worth of music on a single charge. You can also recharge your iPhone or iPod while it is docked. Meanwhile, the S125i is an easy-to-transport speaker dock. You can use it to play and charge any iPod model with the Apple Universal Dock Connector or connect other music players using the 3.5mm auxiliary input. Both speakers have a standard 3.5 mm jack so you can plug in any portable music player, and even your PC or CD player. The Logitech S315i and S125i are priced at $129.99 and $99.99, respectively. Edifier has now made its iF500 iPod dock entertainment system available in North America. The device looks unique with its alien head like dome that houses five separate speakers and is made with vibration and resonance control. The device is compatible with iPods, iPhones, and other portable audio players via their headphone jacks.
