ASUS comes back to the netbook market by releasing the new ASUS Eee 1001PX. The netbook runs on a 1.66GHz Intel N450 CPU with a 1GB of RAM, up to 250GB hard drive and a 6-cell battery with up to 9-hour of operation time. Other specs include three USB 2.0 ports, a VGA output, 10/100 Ethernet port, a headphone jack and a memory card reader. The ASUS Eee 1001PX netbook also has a 0.3-megapixel camera for video conferencing. The Windows XP model retails for $326, while the Windows 7 Home edition model is priced at $406. Four New Dell Vostro Laptops

Dell has updated its Vostro laptop line up with four new models such as the Dell Vostro 3300, 3400, 3500, and 3700. All models feature an aluminum case with three sophisticated color choices. The Dell Vostro 3300, Vostro 3400, 3500 come with a 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 15.6-inch LED backlit display, respectively. These laptops boast an Intel Core i3/i5 processor with up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, a 512MB nVidia Geforce 310M graphics, a DVD burner, a 2.0MP webcam, a fingerprint reader and Windows 7. Meanwhile, the Vostro 3700 is a true desktop replacement notebook with a 17.3-inch display. This high-end version uses Intel’s Core i7 quad-core processor and a 1GB nVidia Geforce GT330M graphics. Lenovo today unveiled their first ThinkPad W series that comes equipped with a USB 3.0 interface and a 16GB of DDR3 RAM. The Lenovo ThinkPad W701ds is powered by a Quad-core 2GHz Core i7 CPU with a Quadro FX 3800M for pro-level 3D rendering, a 160GB hard drive or a 128GB SSD, and a slide-out 10-inch secondary screen. The laptop’s 17-inch main display is 100 percent color-accurate thanks to the color sensor that automatically calibrates to different lighting environments.
