
LG Electronics today unveiled its new WIDEBOOK notebook range that provides an extreme entertainment experience to consumers. The LG WIDEBOOK range consists of five models including the R580, R560, R480, R460 and R380. Each models features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an SRS TruSurround HD sound, and a wide 16:9 HD LED-backlit display, which is optimized for HD content and provides in 1600 x 900 and 1368 x 768 HD pixel resolutions, depending on the model.
The R580 and R560 boast a 15.6-inch display, while the R480 and R460 feature a 14-inch screen. The R380 is a smaller model that comes with a 13.3-inch panel. The R580 and R480 are positioned as premium models and sport a stylish design, while the R560 and R460 are reliable everyday workhorses and the R380 offers a blend of performance at an affordable price. BenQ has announced two new CULV laptop namely the Joybook S35 and Joybook S43. The former has a 13.3-inch LCD display with an Intel GMA4500HD graphics, while the latter provides a 14-inch LCD screen with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4300 graphics. Both notebooks come jam packed with feature a CULV CPU (Consumer Ultra Low Voltage) which comes in different CPU flavors including a 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo, a 1.2GHz Celeron 732, a 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo SU7300 and a 1.3GHz Celeron 743. Epson today introduced their latest Endeavor Na02mini-V. The netbook provides a 10.1-inch LCD display with 1024×600 resolution, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU based on the 945GSE Express video chipset, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB of HDD, and WiFi. Nokia has announced their first netbook in the form of the Nokia Booklet 3G. The 10-inch netbook comes with an Intel Atom processor, an “HD ready” LCD display, an integrated A-GPS, Ovi Maps software, HDMI out, and an impressive 12-hour of battery life. The Nokia Booklet 3G also features a built in 3G/HSPA and Wi-Fi that will provide high speed Internet access on the go. Japanese laptop manufacturer DosPara has rolled out the Prime Note Galleria GS notebook PC that boasts a 15.4-inch with a 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution, a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 CPU, an nVidia GeForce 966M GS with 512MB of VRAM, a 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM, and a 500 GB of SATA HDD. Maingear today rolled out their latest 15-inch notebook for gamers, which is known as the eX-L 15. The laptop supports up to a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Quad CPU, a 1GB nVidia GeForce GTX 260M, a 1680×1050 display resolution, up to 8GB of RAM, a Blu-ray drive, and either a 500GB conventional hard drive or a 256GB SSD. Toshiba today announced the availability of the Satellite A500 laptop that comes equipped with a wide HD LCD display. The multimedia notebook PC comes with a 16-inch HD Toshiba TruBrite display with 16:9 aspect ratio that offers a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a 200 cd/m² brightness level. The high-end laptop also features a built-in TV-Tuner to receive analogue and digital TV channels over DVB-T, an HD webcam, and high-end Harman Kardon stereo speakers. What makes the Satellite A500 more special is that it can be operated with a remote control thanks to the REGZA-Link, a HDMI CEC(High-Definition Multimedia Interface Consumer Electronics Control) interface.
