Orange UK has started selling the Asus Eee 1005HGO (Seashell) netbook that allows you to get online when you’re on the road thanks to its built-in 3G modem and WiFi. The 10.1-inch netbook provides a long battery life of up to seven hours and features an Intel Atom N270 processor with a 1GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and a built-in webcam for video conference. The wait is over. Asus has finally announced the availability of Asus Eee PC 1201N laptop in the US market. It is actually the first ION-powered laptop from Asus that features a 1366 x 768 resolution LCD display with an nVidia ION graphics card, a 250GB hard drive, and an Intel Atom 330 dual core processor. The 12-inch laptop also provides three USB ports, an SDHC card slot, a VGA output, WiFi, Bluetooth, and an HDMI port. The Eee PC 1201N is scheduled to be released in mid-December 2009 for $499. Asus will launch their latest Eee PC netbook that is powered by Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium edition as its operating system. Dubbed as the Asus Eee PC 1101HA-WP, the 11.6-inch netbook features an Intel Atom Z520 processor with a 2GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and an Intel GMA 500 graphics chipset. The netbook comes equipped with a rechargeable battery that will provide up to 8-hours of operating time. Sony comes back to the gaming laptop market by releasing three new laptops, which as part of the Vaio Fall-Winter Signature collection. The Sony Vaio VGN-FW590FFD comes jam packed with a 16.4-inch LCD display with a 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard disk drive, a 2.53GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics. Meanwhile, the Sony VAIO FW Nebula features a 16.4-inch extra widescreen HD display, an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (up to 3.06GHz) with Intel Centrino 2 technology, an ATI HD Graphics card with up to 1GB VRAM, up to 8GB of configurable RAM, up to 500GB hard disk drive or 256GB SSD, and up to 5.5-hours of battery life. Sony has also introduced the VAIO Signature Collection VGN-CW1FFX. Available in Royal Indigo, this limited edition gaming laptop boasts an nVidia GeForce GT 230M graphics card.
