Sony is introduced its new VAIO SZ series laptops, Sony VAIO VGN-S72VP. It packs with a 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo T2600 (667 MHz FSB) processor, a 120GB 5400rpm SATA hard disk drive, 1024MB DDR2 SDRAM (2GB maximum), 56Kbit/s modem, 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. To secure your sensitive data, this VAIO has a biometric fingerprint sensor and ‘G-Sensor Shock Protection’ which can lock the hard disk drive when it senses a change in g-force or risky movement, like being dropped. Other features include a built-in microphone and 0.3MP Web camera to make a video conferencing.

HP NC2400 weights only 2.9 pounds. Acer will launch its new Ferrari series notebooks, the Ferrari 1000 and 5000, at the end of July. Both models will each be priced at 2,000 Euros or about USD 2,543. They are powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology and has the new 64-bit architecture. Ferrari 5000 features a 15.4 Inch TFT LCD which comes with a handy Acer VoIP Bluetooth phone and the Acer Video Conference solutions which includes the Acer OrbiCam, a 1.3MP webcam. It also comes with a complete WLAN, WPAN with built-in Bluetooth 2.0 module, LAN connection and high storage capacity up to 160GB HDD. Ferrari 1000 is compatible with the gamers since it is powered by ATI Radeon XPress 1150 chipset with 512MB HyperMemory which allows the 12.1 Inch Acer CrystalBrite widescreen to display high resolution visuals.

Lenovo, the third biggest PC supplier in the United States, announced their new high-end notebook, ThinkPad G50. It will be available soon through the Lenovo website with the estimated price of USD1,783. The notebook features a 15 Inch TFT LCD with the resolutions of 1400 x 1050. It is powered by Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz processor, a Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset, 512MB DDR SDRAM with 2GB maximum, floppy disk drive, 100GB SATA HDD, and DVD Super-multi drive. G50 has also the built-in IEEE 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN, Ethernet LAN port, and four USB 2.0 ports at the side of the notebook. Lenovo boasts that its battery has up to 2.5 hours of system operation. It measures 329 mm x 283 mm x 37 mm and weights 260 grams.

Fujistu adds the LifeBook C1410 to its list of laptops. This light weight laptop feautres a 15.4 Inch widescreen XGA display, an Intel Core Duo CPU, Gigabit Ethernet, multi-format DVD burner, 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Price starts at $1039.

The Prime A Note Ares TX is Dospara’s latest multimedia notebook which is powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-50 (1.6GHz) CPU, 512MB DDR2 memory, 80GB SATA HDD, a ±R DL Super Multi DVD drive, and 14.1Inch 1280 x 800 WXGA display. It measures 338 mm x 249 mm x 36mm. Features include four USB 2.0 ports, 802.11 a/b/g WLAN, and S-Video out. The notebook will be available on July 23rd in Japan with a suggestion prices at $1,059.
