Acer Japan has released another eco-friendly LCD monitor in the form of the S243HLbmii. This new 24-inch LCD monitor is an energy efficient display, consuming just 17.2W during operation thanks to its efficient LED technology. As for the specs itself, it features a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, two 1W built-in speakers, a D-Sub port and two HDMI outputs. Here’s the latest 42-inch monitor from Albatron that sports multi-touch capabilities, the Optical Touch Monitor. This widescreen display makes use of optical touch technology and features optical sensors on the screen above left and right to detect the movement of fingers. The monitor itself provides a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 9 ms response time, 700 cd/m2 brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. HP has once again expanded its Compaq LCD monitor range by unveiling the L2105tm Multi-Touch. This new 21.5-inch widescreen monitor provides a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, 1,000:1 static contrast ratio, 5ms response time, a built-in two-watt speaker system, 170/170 degrees viewing angle and both DVI and VGA ports. Dell has added a new multi-touch LCD monitor to its range by releasing the SX2210T. This 21.5-inch widescreen LCD supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features 2ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 220 cd/m2 brightness and a 2-megapixel webcam. This slim LCD monitor supports up to 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with a 250cd/m2 brightness level, a 2ms response time, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio (20000:1 in ACR). Samsung has rolled out two new LCD monitors for the US market in the form of Lapfit LD190N and LD220G. Designed specifically for use as a secondary display for notebook PCs, the 19-inch LD190N offers a native resolution of 1360 x 768 pixels, while the 22-inch LD220G provides a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Both monitors also features 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, a VGA output (LD190N) and a USB port (LD220G). I-O Data today announced its new Full HD monitor for the Japanese market called the LCD-AD221EW. This 21.9-inch widescreen monitor provides a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m2 brightness. Samsung will show off their latest 55-inch Full HD 3D LCD panel at the IMID expo in South Korea. This newly developed 3D LCD panel provides a 240Hz refresh rate that allows the content to seem more natural, vibrant and create no ghosting as compared to lower 120Hz 3D TVs.
