
Chinese manufacturer Diguang has rolled out its 19 inch LED monitors that measures a mere 13.3mm thick and weights at just 2.5Kg. Diguang also claims that these LED monitors are environmentally friendly, mercury-free, and consumes only 20 watts of power on average. [Press Release]

Sharp today released three new eco-friendly AQUOS LCD TVs that are available in a 40 inch, 42 inch and 52 inch models. The new AQUOS offers 15000:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 450cd/m2. The company has successfully reduced their power consumption with an improved Backlight and overall power consumption system capable to bring to 175kWh/Year for the 52 inch, 145kWh/Year for the 46 inch, and only 120kWh/Year for the 40 inch model. The 40 inch model is priced at 200 000 Yen (€153), the 46 inch for 260 000 Yen (€1995), and the 52 inch for 390 000 Yen (€3990). [Sharp]

Bang & Olufsen will launch its latest addition to the BeoVision8 series of LCD TVs. This 40-inch LCD features a 100hz refresh rate, 1920×1080 resolution, 6ms response time, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 brightness and an anti-glare screen. Asus has decided to introduce its new Asus EzLink LCD Monitor at CeBIT 2009 Expo in Germany. The VH192C and VH196 are energy-efficient LCD monitor that are actually the company’s first wireless monitor that connects for your PC or laptop via a Wireless Host Controller Interface (WHCI) or Wireless USB Host Wire Adapter (HWA).
