
Sony Japan introduces two new Bravia LCD HDTVs, the W5 and F5. Both HDTVs feature a 240MHz Motion Flow panel (Except the 32F5 Model which only feature a 120MHz LCD panel) and a Felica / Edy e-Wallet reader on their remote control that allows users to make online payment for any VOD (Video On Demand) services in Japan. The Bravia W5 and F5 also adopt the Bravia Engine 3. Here are two new members of Samsung’s PAVV Bordeaux LCD. Available in both 40 inch and 46 inch, these Fabrizio 650 LCDs are built on Eco friendly plastics and feature a 120Mhz Full HD panel. These TVs are DLNA and support direct play of many kinds of movies, photo or audio files via its USB port. Other features include four HDMI 1.3 ports. [Akihabara]

Philips has decided to launch its Philips 56 inch LCD in the UK on June 6th, 2009. The LCD screen boasts an unbelievable 21:9 image ratio with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,080 pixels, 80000:1 contrast ratio, and response speed of 1ms with Philips’s Perfect Natural Motion technology. This high-end TV also provides 5 HDMI ports, Ethernet port, Wi-Fi. It can access Youtube, Ebay, etc and has support for DLNA. The LCD will be available for $5050. [Newlaunches]

Dell has unveiled the 22-inch SX2210 LCD screen on the company’s site. The monitor offers 1080p resolution, a 2.0MP embedded webcam, 1000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2 millesecond response time, 160 degrees horizontal / 170 degrees vertical viewing angles, and 300 cd/m² brightness. The new LG Xcanvas LCDs are now available in South Korea. There are two models from the Xcanvas LH70 Series, a 47 inch (40.9mm thick) and 42 inch (39.7mm thick). Both LCDs feature a 10 000:1 contrast ratio with a 120Hz panel, 2ms response time, LG’s Color Decanting and EYEQ Green. These LCDs are also support Bluetooth, enabling you to connect a Bluetooth headphone to your TV, mobile phone or PC to stream both Video and Photo directly to it. I-O Data comes back with its new Full HD 23.6 inch LCD screen. It offers 1290×1080 resolution with 300cd/m2 brightness and 1000:1 contrast ration (up to 10000:1 with I-O DATA’s DRC on). The screen also features both HDMI 1.2a and DVI-D HDCP as well as your average D-SUB. You can purchase it for around 32800 Yen in Japan. [I-O Data]

Princeton of Japan comes back with a new 21.5 inch LCD monitor which is dubbed as the PTFBGF-22RW. The LCD screen is able to produce a native 1080p resolution, and features 16:9 native aspect ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, 1,000:1 static contrast ratio, 10,000:1 dynamic ratio, 5ms response time, 160-degree vertical viewing angle and 170-degree horizontal viewing angle. Other connectivity options include a VGA port, two HDMI ports, a headphone output and a 3.5mm audio jack input. The Korean Samsung has decided to release the SyncMaster LD190G and LD220G LCD monitors for the Japanese market. As a reminder, the SyncMaster LD190G is a 18.5 inch monitors that provides a resolution of 1360×768, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 with a DCR of 20,000:1, a response time of 5ms, and a brightness of 250cd/m². It is priced at 19,800 Yens
