LG has decided to release its W2442PA-BF 24 inch LCD monitor that comes jam packed with 300cd/m2 brightness level, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, Dynamic contraste feature, 2ms response time, 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios supported, 160 to 170 degrees viewing angle, 1 watt speakers, HDMI, DVI-D ports, and VGA port. EIZO comes back with a new 24 Inch LCD display with DisplayPort, so you can connect it to the new MacBook and MacBook Pro. Known as the ColorEdge CG242W, the LCD screen is able to cover up to 97% of the Adobe RGB spectrum, and features a WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200), a 178 degree view angle, a maximum brightness of 270cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1100:1. The Westinghouse SK-32H570D is an LCD TV that comes with an integrated DVD player. The 32 inch LCD screen features two HDMI inputs, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 178 degrees viewing angle, 6.5ms response time, and 1,200:1 contrast ratio. Dell makes us busy with their two new wide-aspect LCD displays – the 22 inch S2209W and the 23 inch S2309W. Both LCD screens feature full 1080p resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms pixel response time, DVI with HDCP encryption support and VGA support. Designer Mac Funamizu knows that 3D display screens are expensive, so he manages to create a new 3D LCD concept in the form of the “Double Pane LCD Screen”. It is actually a dual layered LCD that creates a sense of depth when graphics are overlayed. This technology could be applied to display interactive maps on cell phones or GPS navigation system. NEC USA has unveiled its New MultiSync P Series 22-Inch Widescreen Desktop LCD for professional use. Dubbed as the NEC P221W, the LCD monitor boasts a max resolution of 1,680×1,050, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a brightness of 300cd/m², a response time of 16ms. The LCD screen will offers a high quality pictures thanks to the S-PVA LCD technology, the XtraView+ viewing angle, and the AmbiBright automatic brightness adjustment. Mitsubishi’s new Full HD LCD screen comes equipped with a built-in digital TV tuner. The Mitsubishi MDT221WTF is actually the first HD LCD monitor in Japan to integrate a digital tuner TV. This 21.5 inch LCD monitor features a resolution of 1920×1080, two HDMI ports, DVI-D, Composite and Analog RGB interface, and a contrast ratio of 2,000:1, a brightness of 300cd/m², and a response time of 5ms.
