AOC will launch a new Full HD monitor in Japan called the AMI2252W0M-GP3R. Featuring an IPS panel, this new 21.5-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 20,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 2W speakers and features DVI, D-Sub and HDMI connectors. The AMI2252W0M-GP3R will go on sale from February 25th for 14,800 Yen (about $185). [AOC]

Sharp has announced the availability of the AQUOS LC-70Q7 70-inch UV2A LCD TV in the Japanese market. The LC-70Q7 comes equipped with a LED backlight, a W Tuner (Dual Digital TV Tuner), USB HDD Recording and DLNA support. Another LCD monitor from I-O Data is about to enter the market. Codenamed LCD-AD202X, this new 20-inch LED-backlight monitor delivers 1600 x 900 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 1W stereo speakers and has DVI-D and mini D-Sub connectors. Coming in both black and white color options, this new 21.5-inch LED-backlight monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time, and consumes just 17.3W of power during normal operation. LG has announced the D2500N-PN glasses-free 3D monitor in Japan. The 25-inch 3D monitor features a native resolution of 1920×1080, a brightness level of 250cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio at 5,000,000:1.
