USB powered LCDs are a big hit today. That’s why Buffalo Japan has decided to release the FTD-W71 USB. The screen features a WVGA resolution (800×600 resolution), and a contrast ratio of 500:1. Albatron has decided to launch its 21.5 inch LCD display in March. Albatron’s new LCD will feature DVI, VGA inputs, and send touch information to the PC using a USB connection. The Albatron LCD display will use touch sensors being embedded into the bezel to produce a brighter images and increased durability. BenQ has decided to launch the new G Series LCD monitor that offers full High Definition images. There are a total of 10 different models that you can choose ranging from 15.6 inch wide to 24 inch wide. The new G Series LCD monitors consist of five 720p models and five 1080p models. Eizo is famous for its often-specialized monitors. The company comes back with two new FlexScan LCDs that promise to cover 95% of the Adobe RGB color space (and 92% of the NTSC color gamut). The FlexScan S2242W-H and FlexScan S2232W-E are both 22-inch LCDs that boast a full 1920×1200 and 1680×1050, respectively. Each screens sports a 1,200:1 contrast ratio, a 12ms black-to-white response time, VGA and HDCP-capable DVI ports (but no HDMI), a pair of USB ports, and pair of built-in 0.5W speakers. D-Link has unveiled its newest USB-powered monitor. Dubbed as the SideStage, the monitor is able to both connect to your computer via USB, and power itself via USB. It features a 7-inch LCD monitor with 800×480 resolution and comes with both landscape and portrait modes.
