Creative will release another version of its ZEN Media player series on May 5th, 2009. Measuring 83.2mm x 55mm x 11.9mm and weighing 66grams, the gadget features a 2.5-inch (320×240 pixel) display, SDHC expansion and supports WMV, DivX, MP3, WMA and AAC file formats. Let’s take a look at this hot Chinese model new HD PMP from Cube. The Cube B52HD comes with a 5 inch (480 x 272pixel) touchscreen display and allows you to enjoy 720p videos when you connect it to a HDTV. Unfortunately, you will only enjoy the downscale video on its 5 inch screen. The player supports RM, RMVB, MPEG, AVI, FLV video files and MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC, OGG audio files. That’s right! Lenovo introduces its new touchscreen PMP, which is dubbed as the MRT800. There is nothing special with the specs. The gadget offers a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 touchscreen display, TF expansion of up to 4GB, and supports RM/RMVB, AVI, ASF, MP4, FLV video files and MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WAV audio files. The Itoos T68HD is a new HD PMP from a Chinese manufacturer that features a large 4.3 inch LCD (800×480) with 8GB of internal memory. The player is compatible with RM, RMVB, MP3, WAV, FLV, AVI and MPG4 file formats. It can also play 720p videos on its 4.3 inch screen or a TV via its TV out. [Itoos via iPod and MP3 Players]
The Nextar MA809 is a thin portable media player that measures at only 0.25 inch thin, which is almost half the iPhone 3G. The Nextar MA809 supports MP3/WMA audio files, JPEG/BMP/GIF picture files, and AVI video files. There is also an FM radio. The 2GB model retails for around $100, meanwhile the 8GB version for $149. Chinese gadget manufacturer Gemei has introduced the Gemei HD-660 that plays 720p HD. Measuring only 123mm x 76mm x 15mm and weighing at 147grams, the player is compatible with JPG, BMP, and PNG picture files, RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV and MPEG video files, and MP3, WMA, FLAC audio files. The Gemei HD-660 offers up to 32GB of storage space, and a 4.3 inch WQVGA LCD (480×272 pixels). If you like a PMP with a huge display screen, then you can choose the i-Luv’s i1166. This player comes with a 9 inch widescreen TFT LCD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. S1Digital has released the new media center known as the P500. It has four CableCARD tuners, a QAM/ATSC tuner, support for internal RAID5 storage, HDMI/DVI, 7.1-channel audio output, and Core 2 Duo processors. You can choose the S800 and P600 that support high definition movies on the standard Blu-ray drives. These new media centers from S1Digital will also play nice with Crestron, AMX, RTI, HAI and PC based-touchscreens over IP or RS-232. The P500 is priced at a hefty $5,999 upwards. [ehomeupgrade]
Korean manufacturer MyRacer has roiled out the Lisse S10. Weighing at only 22grams, the gadget measures 46 mm x 40 mm x 11mm. This little player is currently available in 2GB or 4GB variants and supports MP3, WMA and WAV file formats.

Here are a couple of DVD players from LG. The DV4S supports Dvix HD video while the DV4M is a more music oriented DVD player. It is able to convert CD audio to MP3 for storage and USB device playing. Pricing and availability is not known yet. [Akihabara]
