Itoos today announced their latest portable media player for the mass market. Dubbed as the M8, the music player supports 1080p video playback via its HDMI output. The Itoos M8 is compatible with most of famous video formats including H.263/H.264, MKV, RM, RMVB, RV8/9, MPEG4/ASP, VOB, DAT, ASF, WMV and MPEG1/2. The MSI MV652+ portable media player is actually an upgraded version of the previously released MSI MV652. The player features a 3-inch touchscreen display with a Rockchip chipset, and supports all the popular audio and video file formats. Thanko has started to sell their brand new Portable Media Player in the Japanese market. Known as the Thanko DTLMP45AV, the gadget features a 4.3-inch LCD display with a 480 x 272 resolution and a 8GB of internal memory, which is upgradable via a microSDHC card slot (up to 8GB). Priced at $99.99 each, this media player is compatible with a wide variety of codecs with 1080p resolution including MPEG1/2/4, H.264, VC-1, and RM/RMVB. QNAP Systems has finally released the QNAP NMP-1000 networked media player that was debuted at 2009 CeBIT. The device supports BitTorrent Server, FTP Server, remote web browser access, and DLNA compliant. The QNAP NMP-1000 can function as an external USB or eSATA drive to your PC. The gadget supports most of famous multimedia file formats including XVID, H.264, H.263, WMV9, VC1, AVI, MPEG/MPG, MKV, FLAC, WAV, WMA, AAC, PCM, AC3, and OGG. Korean Giant Samsung Electronics will launch the YP-M1 Portable Media Player. Available in black and white, this music player features a 3.3-inch wide AMOLED touchscreen with an nVidia Tegra chipset for HD video playback, Samsung’s DNSe 3.0 technology, T-DMB, an FM radio, a dictionary function and a stereo speaker. The gadget also supports also features most of famous multimedia formats including MPEG4, XviD, H.264, MP3, and WMV. Measuring 9.9-mm thick, the 8GB Samsung YP-M1 is priced at 299,000 Won or around $252. The company will also release a 16GB and a 32GB models in the near future. Seagate has rolled out a new HD media player, which is designed to be used with Seagate FreeAgent Go portable hard drives. Known as the Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ HD, the device can be connected to your HDTV via HDMI port. The HD media player provides full HD video at 1080p with DTS 2.0 + Digital Out, or Dolby Digital technology. The interface is easily navigated with the included remote control, and you can choose from video, photos or music with the up/down arrows on the remote to make your selection. The Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ HD is currently available for $150 without a hard drive, or bundled with a 500GB FreeAgent Go drive for $290.
