
Already available in the US, Dell’s brand new Android tablet ‘Streak‘ is finally making its way to Australian market in October. In case you’ve forgotten, the device offers 5-inch 480 x 800 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, a front facing camera, a 512MB RAM, a 512MB ROM, a 16GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and runs on Android 1.6 OS. Folks in Italia will be able to purchase Alessi’s Android-based AlessiTab in November for €399 ($532). The gadget features a 1GB of storage, a DVB-T digital TV tuner, WiFi b/g and an HDMI output. The gadget also has a 10-inch screen, which is integrated into an L-shape frame. This L-shape stand allows for comfortable viewing when in upright position. Samsung has finally confirmed the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab for the Australian market. Priced at $999 for the 16GB version, this Apple’s iPad competitor will be released in November 2010. The Australian version of Galaxy Tab features a 7-inch display, a microSD slot for storage expansion, dual cameras, Adobe Flash support and the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. [smh.com]

Chinese gadget manufacturer RAmos today introduced its new Mobile Internet Device (MID) namely the T11AD. Powered by a 5-inch (800×480) display screen, this Android-powered tablet has a Rockship RK2818 chipset, which is capable of supporting Full HD 1080p video. Additionally, the RAmos T11AD also supports Wi-Fi, a card reader, and a USB 2.0 port. Too bad, there is no info on pricing or availability at this moment, so stay tuned. [RAmos]

Sharp has rolled out their latest digital TV tuner in the form of the AQUOS AN-IP100, or also known as the AQUOS Net Tuner. The device supports digital broadcast and allows you to record on an external USB drive any programs or shows you want. Sony has decided to release a couple of new digital voice recorder (IC Recorder) in the Japanese market. The Sony SX series provides a 4GB of storage space and orientable dual microphones, while the Sony UX series is available in 2GB or 4GB model and comes with fixed dual microphones. Both digital voice recorders also adopt Sony’s new S Microphone System with surrounding noise reduction.
