While Sony’s TransferJet wireless technology hasn’t made it as far as it should have by this point, it still has a whole lot of potential. I-O Data has a lot faith in the technology because they are bringing out a USB TransferJet Adapter that will allow any PC or Mac to transfer content using the proprietary standard. It will come in the form of a square dongle that will sit on your desk and suck the data out of your TransferJet enabled device. [CrunchGear]

Having a lock on your bike is great and all, but if someone does manage to break it, you won’t know until you return to where you bike was and find it already gone. This new WiFi Enabled Bike Lock Concept has a different idea though, alerting you to any tampering instantly via WiFi. If you are within the vicinity you can quickly rush back and hope to catch the culprit in action. The down sides is that the lock itself doesn’t look very strong at all, but this is still just a concept and there is plenty of time to improve on that. [NotCot]
