
Dutch company Ambiance Technology is gearing up to drop their newest Win7-based tablet into the market. Known as the AT-Tablet, the device sports a 10-inch capacitive multi-touch screen, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, an Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a card reader, stereo speakers, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, two USB 2.0 ports, a 3300mAh battery and is pre-loaded with Windows 7 home Premium OS. SmartDevices has launched an upgrade version of its SmartQ V5. Dubbed as the SmartQ V5-II, the new Android tablet boasts an accelerometer, a 720MHz ARM11 processor with 3D hardware acceleration, a 256MB DDR?, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a USB OTG port and a Mini-HDMI port. HP has officially announced their newest Windows-based tablet, the Slate 500. Aimed at business users, the Slate 500 sports an 8.9-inch 1024 x 600 LED-backlit capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z540 processor, an Intel GMA 500 graphics card, a 2GB RAM, a 64GB SSD, an SD card slot, a front-facing VGA camera, a 3-megapixel camera at the back, 1080p Full HD video playback support, WiFi, Bluetooth, stereo speakers, a 2-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 Professional OS. Chinese gadget maker ONN has unveiled its new Android-powered tablet namely the OPad N3. This gadget features a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixel) capacitive display, which is much more responsive to fingertip input. The OPad N3 also features a fast 1GHz Rockchip RK2818 ARM-based processor, Wi-Fi, EVDO 3G mobile broadband capabilities and a SIM card slot. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing at this time. Verizon has confirmed the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab on their network. The gadget will be released on November 11st, 2010. The Verizon’s version of Android tablet features a 7-inch display, the Google Android 2.2, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor and Verizon’s 3G data network. The gadget is priced at $600 without a requirement for a data plan. If you do desire to not rely on Wi-Fi, you’ll be able to purchase a $20/month data plan on a month-to-month basis for 1GB of data.
