Buffalo WEX-300 Wireless LAN Repeater

Buffalo has also unveiled their newest wireless LAN repeater, the WEX-300. Designed to extend the radio range of the wireless LAN into out-of-reach areas of the home, the WEX-300 supports for single-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps), has a WPS button and four LAN ports on the back, and provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA-PSK (AES), WPA/WPA2 mixed PSK (AES) and WEP (128/64bit). The WEX-300 will go on sale from late April for 5,000 Yen (about $49). [Buffalo]

iiyama 10P1000-C-VGM Windows 8.1 Tablet

iiyama is preparing to launch their newest Windows 8.1 tablet for the mass market, the 10P1000-C-VGM. Powered by a 1.58GHz Intel Celeron N2806 processor, the tablet sports a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 multi-touch display, an Intel GMA HD3000 graphics, a 2GB DDR3 RAM, a 64GB SSD (eMMC), a microSD card slot, dual cameras (1MP front & 5MP rear), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a micro-HDMI output port, a lithium-ion battery and runs on Windows 8.1 64-bit OS. Palit has introduced the 6GB version of its GeForce GTX 780 JetStream OC graphics card. Powered by a powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU, the card comes with a unique 8-phase PWM design, a core clock of 902MHz, a fancy blue LED lighting and a triple-fan cooling solution (2x 80mm, 1x 90mm), and features DVI-D, DVI-I, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.
