Denon Launches Black RCD-N7 AirPlay CD Receiver In Japan

Denon today launched the new black version of the RCD-N7 AirPlay CD receiver in the Japanese market. The player supports Wi-Fi, DLNA 1.5, iPod touch/iPhone dock, a USB port and Apple AirPlay support. The RCD-N7 also streams audio from Rhapsody, Napster, Pandora and Last.fm. The black version of Denon RCD-N7 is priced at 55,000 Yen or approx. $695. Read more

Onkyo FR-N9NX Compact Hi-Fi System

Onkyo today introduced the FR-N9NX compact Hi-Fi system, which is an improved version of the X-N7NX Compact Hi-Fi system. The Onkyo FR-N9NX comes equipped with a CD player, a USB port and an iPod/iPhone cradle. This Hi-Fi system is also compatible with Onkyo’s new ND-S10 digital audio transport for Onkyo’s Audio systems. The Onkyo FR-N9NX Compact Hi-Fi system and ND-S10 digital audio transport will be released in Japan next month. No word on pricing so far. Read more

Onkyo has rolled out the X-U1 Micro Hi-Fi system in Japan. Priced at 35,000 Yen, the music player features a CD player, an FM tuner, a couple of speakers (15W x 2ch output) and a USB port. There is also an iPod/iPhone/iPad cradle and a remote controller, allowing you to control the Onkyo X-U1 from the comfort of your sofa. Additionally, the X-U1 is also compatible with MP3 files. LG FX166 Micro Hi-Fi And 3D Blu-ray Combo Hits The Japanese Market

If you are living in Japan, you will be able to purchase the LG FX166. The company will release this micro Hi-Fi and 3D Blu-ray combo later this week. The FX166 comes equipped with a DVD/Blu-Ray video player with 3D support, DLNA support, a FM radio and an alarm clock. Additionally, this music player is also compatible with iPod touch and iPhones. Panasonic has launched a trio of new iPhone/ iPod docking stations in Japan namely the SC-HC55, SC-HC35 and SC-HC05. All of these docking stations come with an FM radio and Bluetooth support. The Panasonic SC-HC55 is a high-end version that features a CD player and Bluetooth hands-free module with a total output of 2x40W, while the Panasonic SC-HC35 lacks of Bluetooth hands-free module. Amazon has started selling the Bose Wave music system for $749.90. This music player has a CD changer that allows for uninterrupted listening from up to four CDs in succession. JVC-Victor has introduced a new compact Hi-Fi system in the form of the RD-M4-VD. This compact Hi-Fi system features a CD player, a 2x4W total output, a USB port and a 4GB of internal memory. Spotify Concept Mobile Player

Enterprising Interaction Design student Jordi Parra based at the Umea Institute of Design in Sweden has designed the Spotify Concept Mobile Player that allows you to listen to your favorite tunes from any room in within range of your Wi-Fi. The player features a couple of buttons for previous and next track and a volume control. There are also 192 LED nodes, which display volume levels, battery life, and Internet connectivity on the device’s face. Denon has finally issued a firmware update for the Denon RCD-N7 CD player. The new firmware upgrade allows the player to support Apple’s AirPlay. The AirPlay wireless technology allows you to stream your iTunes library wirelessly to your CD player.
