Acer Ferrari Racing GPS Navigation Gadget

Acer has finally unveiled more details of their latest Ferrari Racing handheld GPS device. The Acer Ferrari Racing GPS handheld comes with navigation capabilities integrating SiRF Star III GPS receiver and the ALK CoPilot navigation software. It is powered by a Windows Mobile Office suite, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection and has a 2.8 inch touch screen display. The gadget also comes bundled with a 1 or 2 GB SD card, a unique Ferrari car cradle and car charger, and European maps on DVD. All the maps are provided by NAVTEQ.

Taiwanese Mio introduced their new GPS navigation gadget called Mio A502, which is a successor of the Mio A501. The new A502 features Windows Mobile 6 operating system and sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 (with A2DP)1 GB of ROM, and USB 2.0. This navigation gadget also comes equipped with MioMap navigation software, windshield mounting kit, and a car charger. However, there is no word on pricing or availability so far. XRoad RM-A4000 GPS Navigation System

The new brand XRoad is entering the GPS navigation gadget market with their latest model RM-A4000. The gadget offers 3.5 inch display screen, 64MB memory, SD card slot, and support for multimedia files. It comes with a visor-like cover to minimize the light reflection, and features the special joystick button to control the menus. Other specs includes Bluetooth supports. Rumor said that the RM-A4000 will be released next month for around $600.

HyON today introduced its new GPS navigation gadget with PMP. Dubbed as the Xent X3, the device has a T-DMB receiver that allows you to you watch digitally broadcast on the go. The Xent X3 is running on a 500Mhz Alchemy processor with 128MB of SDRAM and a 7 inch LCD screen. The gadget also supports SD cards for memory expansion.

Here is the new Motorola MC70 with GPS capability. This navigation gadget has a rugged design and can withstand being dropped on concrete from a certain height, resist water, dust, and heat and cold. It is powered by the venerable SiRFStar III GPS receiver, featuring barcode data and signature capture, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and support for EDGE networks. The MC70 is targeted toward enterprise user with field-based employees. There is no word on pricing yet.
