
Panasonic today rolled out a new V10 NeoPDP Plasma TV for home theater. Available in 58-inch and 65-inch models, the Plasma comes jam packed with 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio with 600Hz panel technology and THX certified. Pricing info is still unavailable so far. [DailyDigitals]

Bang & Olufsen has introduced the BeoVision 4 103-inch plasma display, which is claimed to be the ultimate flat screen TV in the market today. The plasma screen comes equipped with its own stand that can lift the screen and turn and tilt it to the optimal viewing position at the touch of a button. Available in black, silver, red, blue, and dark grey, the BeoVision 4 can be custom ordered from any Bang & Olufsen showroom. A lead time of three to four months is expected as each product is custom built-to-order and requires a special “white-glove” delivery and installation process. Samsung has recently introduced its latest Full HD 850 PAVV, a 50-inch PDP (Plasma) “Finger Slim” with a thickness of only 29mm. The Plasma TV is 40% more power efficient and 20% lighter (26kg) than its predecessor. The new 850 PAVV 50-inch PDP TV features Samsung’s Full HD Crystal Engine, DLNA Support, “USB 2.0 Videos” giving you the possibility to watch DivX videos, photos, or play your MP3 directly from an external HDD or USB thumb key to your TV. Panasonic’s super slim 54Z1 plasma TV has been unveiled. What makes this thin plasma TV special is that its wireless HD receiver box that comes along with it. The plasma also comes with a remote which is an RF unit that is capable of non-line-of-sight channel changing. There is no further info about the pricing of this plasma TV. Korean giant Samsung today introduced the latest 450 Series PAVV Fabrizio PDP Series of Plasma TV that is available in both 42 inch and 50 inch models. These PDP TVs feature 600Hz Technology and Samsung’s Crystal Engine. Stay tuned for more updates. [Samsung]

LG Korea today introduced the XCanvas Bobos PDP TV (Plasma) that is available in two version in the form of the 42 inch 42PQ60D and 50 inch 50PQ60D. These Plasma TVs feature LG’s XD picture engines which adjust the picture quality continuously for a better viewing experience, a 1,000,000,000 :1 contrast ratio, and the availability to play video files from a USB drive. The 42 inch 42PQ60D and 50 inch 50PQ60D are currently available in Korea for 1,400,000 ($ 1000) and 2,000,000 KRW ($ 1400). [LG Korea]

Samsung showcased its 63-inch Plasma Display at the ongoing FPD International show in Japan. The display offers a 4,096 x 2,160 pixels. I think this is the future of HDTV. because it offers four times the definition of a modern 1080p HDTV set. [Electronista]

Panasonic has just rolled out the world’s first full HD plasma home theater system capable of displaying 3D images. The system uses a 103-inch plasma television and a Blu-ray Disc (BD) player, distributing full high-definition (HD) (1920 x 1080 pixels) images to left eye and right eye. By wearing active shutter glasses that work in synchronization with the plasma television, the viewer is able to experience 3D images formed with twice the volume of information as regular full HD images, and enjoy them together with high quality surround sound. This system enables full HD signal processing on each of the left and right images in every process from recording, playback and display. No word on pricing or availability yet. [Panasonic]

Pioneer KRP-600M Plasma TV is part of the high-end KURO PDP series. This plasma display is specially made for Audio-Visual fans, who demand the high quality pictures. Measuring a mere 41mm, the screen also boasts full HD resolution and a 100,000:1 contrast ratio. The Pioneer KRP-600M Plasma TV will be available in Japan later this month for around $7,921. Panasonic will be releasing PZ850 series Plasma TVs this Summer. They come in 46-, 50- and 58-inch versions and will be available in mid-June along with a 65-incher in August.
