
Panasonic has introduced a new 3LCD projector to its line-up called the PT-EX500L. Aimed at business market, this new projector delivers 1024 x 768 native resolution, 5000 ANSI lumens brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio and provides up to 4,000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode). BenQ has released a new DLP projector ‘MP780 ST+’ into the market. Aimed at educational market, this ultra short-throw projector provides 1280 x 800 native resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens brightness, 3000:1 contrast ratio and up to 4,000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode). Not to mention, it also comes with two built-in 10W stereo speakers and a number of connectivity ports including two D-Sub, HDMI, Composite, S-Video, Stereo Mini Jack, two RCA, microphone jack and two USB Type A. Sony is offering you their latest 3D projector, the VPL-HW30AES. Adopting the SXRD display technology, this 3D projector provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1300 ANSI lumens brightness and 70,000:1 contrast ratio, and features a D-Sub port and 2x HDMI ports. Here’s a look at Epson’s upcoming 3LCD projector, the BrightLink 485Wi. This new short-throw projector provides 1280 x 800 native resolution, 3100 ANSI lumens brightness, 16:10 aspect ratio and up to 4000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode). In terms of connectivity ports, it offers HDMI, 2x D-Sub, Composite, USB and microphone jack. The BrightLink 485Wi is scheduled to hit the market in Spring 2012 for $1,699 MSRP. [Epson]

Optoma hits back with a new DLP Projector, the HD23. This compact projector delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens brightness, 5000:1 contrast ratio and provides up to 4000 hours of lamp life. Connectivity-wise, it offers two HDMI ports, a D-Sub port, Component and Composite. The Optoma HD23 sells for 799 GBP (about $1,262). [Optoma]

Runco is proud to introduce their latest 3D projector, the LS-12d. Adopting the DLP display technology, this 3D projector provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 2100 ANSI lumens brightness, 10,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 3,000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode). The LS-12d will hit the market from April with an MSRP of $27,995 and will come bundled with Runco’s new Dimension Digital Controller (DC-300) and three sets of active shutter glasses. [Runco]

BenQ is back with its latest short-throw projectors namely the LX 60ST and LW61ST. Designed for the education marketplace, both projectors adopt the company’s mercury-free blue BlueCore light engine to deliver superb energy efficiency. The BenQ LX 60ST and LW61ST also provide a 2000 ANSI lumen brightness, a XGA/WXGA resolution, two built-in 10 Watts speakers, a microphone input, a 360-degree tilted projection and a 0.6/0.49 short-throw projection. Adopting the DarkChip4 DLP display technology, this high performance projector delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1100 ANSI lumens brightness, 100,000:1 contrast ratio, 16:9 aspect ratio and provides up to 30,000 hours of Super PureLED lamp life. WOWee ONE has recently introduced their first pico projector, the Vue. Adopting the green laser technology, this pocket-friendly projector provides 848 x 480 native resolution, 15 ANSI lumens brightness, 5000:1 contrast ratio and 16:9 aspect ratio, and features a USB port, a mini HDMI port, a 3.5mm stereo jack and connectivity to Apple products. Canon has introduced a new projector to its range, the XEED WUX5000. Adopting the LCoS display technology, this high performance projector provides 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 5000 ANSI lumens brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and up to 3000 hours of lamp life (in Quiet Mode). In addition, it also comes with a built-in 5W monaural speaker and a number of connectivity ports including DVI-D, HDMI, D-Sub and 2x stereo mini jack.
