
Mitsubishi has finally released the highly anticipated FL6900U Full HD projector this month. As a reminder, the projector offers a brightness level of 4,000 ANSI Lumens, which is perfect for home theater. In addition, the FL6900U also provides a maximum resolution of 1,920×1,080, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, RS232 support for compatibility with third-party control systems, an automated zoom and focus, and optional lenses. Dell Pocket projector M109S was specially designed for business users who are always on the go. Measuring only at 350grams, the projector is easily fit in the palm of your hand. Sony has decided to release two new Sony’s SXRD projectors, the VPL-VW80 and VPL-HW10. The Sony VPL-VW80 will be released on November 20th, 2008. Meanwhile the VPL-HW10 will be available later this month.
The Sony VPL-HW10 features 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, 30,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,000 lumens brightness, BRAVIA Engine 2, two HDMI inputs, Triple panel SXRD, and a quick 2ms response time. Priced at €5,000, the Sony VPL-VW80 boasts 100Hz Motionflow Dark Frame Insertion Tech, BRAVIA Engine 2, 60,000:1 contrast ratio, 800 lumens brightness, a response time of 2.5ms and two HDMI inputs. Leica unveils Pradovit D-1200, the smallest and lightest digital projector in its class for photorealistic reproduction. Weights in 7.5lb, this compact Pradovit D-1200 sports a Texas Instrument’s WUXGA 1920×1200 DLP panel; offering 2500:1 contrast ratio, 1400 lumens and is capable to throw up to a 432-inch diagonal size picture despite its diminutive dimensions.The unit also offers a set of component input ,hdmi 1.3, DVI digital interfaces and high end video processor from Crestron and Pixelworks. Sanyo today released its LP-Z3000 projector that is specially made for home theaters. The projector adopts Dynamic Predictive Frame Interpolation Technologyand offers 65,000:1 contrast ratio, 19-decibel fan and Advanced lens shifting function. JVC comes back with the new HD projector in the form of the 4K2K DLA-SH4K, which is touted as “the smallest ultra high definition 10MP projector” in the market today. The projector adopts JVC 1.27 inch 10 Mega Pixel D-ILA technology that projects SH4K images using 4096×2400 resolution and features a multi-screen display mode allowing four screens to display Full HD quality video at once. Other cool features are include a brightness level of 3500 ANSI lumens, four DVI-D (Dual-Link) and RS-232C/USB/Ethernet connections. [DailyDigitals]

Let’s take a look at Sony’s BRAVIA VPL-VW80 SXRD. It seems that the company will release this HD projector in Europe. The projector boasts High Frame Rate SXRD panels, a 100Hz Motionflow Dark Frame Insertion system, the BRAVIA ENGINE 2 processing tech and a 2.5-millisecond response time. Other specs are include the 60,000:1 of contrast ratio, Advanced Iris 2, electronic panel alignment, two HDMI connectors and a 1.6x motorized zoom lens. Designed by Moti Barzilay, the iShow is a portable projector designed for Apple’s line of iPods, iPhones, and MacBooks. The device will turn on when you pull the two discs apart to expose a pico projector and ports. No word yet on pixel resolution but the projection system features LED based. [YANKO]

Epson comes back with three new projectors at the CEDIA Expo that support High Definition 1080p resolution. Known as the PowerLite Home Cinema 6100, PowerLite Pro Cinema 7100 and the high-end Pro Cinema 7500 UB, these projectors provide 75,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2.35 or 2.4 aspect ratio viewing, and adopts C2Fine software and FineFrame technology. The Pro Cinema 7100 offers a 18,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 1,800 lumens of brightness and a Day and Night mode.
