
PhotoFast has announced a new series of 1.8-inch SSDs by unveiling the G-Monster V4. Coming in capacities ranging from 32GB to 256GB, these drives are available in three different versions, either with 40-pin ZIF, 44-pin IDE or 50-pin IDE connection interface. They also feature MLC NAND flash memory chips, a 64MB of cache memory, an active garbage collection function and provide read and write speeds of up to 128MB/s and 90MB/s, respectively. Super Talent comes back with several CompactFlash media cards that are able to run at 450X, 533X and 600X speeds with up to 90MB/sec of read and write speeds, which is perfect for premium DSLR cameras. Available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, these cards use MLC NAND Flash as the medium which works silently and lasts longer. In addition, these media cards are also compliant with the CompactFlash 4.1 standard. Here’s the latest addition to G.Skill’s SSD line-up, the Falcon II. Available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB sizes, these 2.5-inch drives are based on 34nm NAND flash memory chips and provide read/write speeds of up to 220/110 MB/s for the 64GB model or 220/150 MB/s for both 128GB and 256GB models. Coming in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, these mini PCIe cards feature a SATA-II 3.0 Gbps interface, MLC NAND flash memory chips, a Jmicron JMF602B controller and provide sequential read/write speeds of up to 130/50 MB/s.
