VIRT is Citizen’s new wristwatch which is the first Bluetooth enabled wristwatch in the world. Using the Bluetooth protocol for short-distance wireless communications, the watch vibrates and lights up when a call is received and displays the party’s name and number, provided that the data has already been transferred to its memory from the phone. Another feature is if you happen to forget your cell phone, the VIRT will let you know when it is out of range. Citizen plans to release the new wristwatch next month in a limited edition of 5,000 units.
