Philips announced new Streamium WAK3300 wireless networked alarm clock. Designed to stream music from the Philips WACS700, this WiFi alarm clock allows you to wake up to your own tunes. Users will be able to wake up to music stored on the systems central unit, as well as access music stored on the central units hard drive. Philips has also announced that it has increased the size of the hard drive in the WACS700 from 40GB to 80GB. No info on pricing and availability.

VIRT is Citizen’s new wristwatch which is the first Bluetooth enabled wristwatch in the world. Using the Bluetooth protocol for short-distance wireless communications, the watch vibrates and lights up when a call is received and displays the party’s name and number, provided that the data has already been transferred to its memory from the phone. Another feature is if you happen to forget your cell phone, the VIRT will let you know when it is out of range. Citizen plans to release the new wristwatch next month in a limited edition of 5,000 units.
