Black Box DVR, the Smallest Personal Video Recorder

Black Box DVR - Small Personal Video Recorder

The Black Box DVR features a camera, a miniSD card up to 4GB and measures at 2.28 square inches. It can record 640×480 video at 30fps and includes a “long lasting” Li-Ion battery. But what it really is, is the smallest personal video recorder to date. Unfortunately, unlike other “Black Boxes” of old, this little gadget won’t pick up your “favorite” channels illegally. It’s yours if you got $499.95 lying around.

Philips DVDR3360H DVD-DVR

Philips DVDR3360H DVD Recorder
Philips DVDR3360H has a bright silver unit (435 x 65 x 340mm) in a reasonably slim casing for a DVD recorder. The eye-catching feature of the DVDR3360H is the pair of glowing red and blue “rings” on the front right-hand side. The rear of the DVDR3360H houses connections for component-video, S-video and composite-A/V connections and, in common with many other recorders, there’s also a drop-down panel that hides a secondary set of composite, S-video and videocam (DV) input connectors. And the best part is that it can record up to 200 hours of recording time. Check the compare price at CNET.
