Panasonic will release a new SATA Blu-Ray burner (LF-PB371JD) on September 13th, 2008. The burner offers burning speed up to 8x with an 8MB buffer. It will be able to burn all recordable optical media formats including DVD-RAM (5x), DVD-R (16x), DVD-R DL (8x), DVD-RW (6x), CD-R (48x), and CD-RW(24x). It will  retail for approx. €250. LG BD300 Blu-Ray Player

LG Electronics and NEtFlix today unveiled the new Blu-Ray disc player that is able to stream movies and TV episodes from Netflix directly to the TV. The player plays high definition Blu-ray discs and able to upscale DVDs to 1080p resolution. In addition, the new LG BD300 also adopts LG’s SimpLink technology, which allows users to control similarly equipped LG TV and AV products via on-screen menus. Samsung Cheapest Blu-Ray Home Theatre

Samsung has now announced budget version of its earlier Blu-ray Home Theatre System. HT-BD2E comes with 5.1 Channel System, 800 watts of total power. It has four satellite speakers, one center speaker and a passive subwoofer. Priced at $800, at almost half their first Blu-ray Home Theatre System HT-BD2T. Expected to ship in August. [BLU-RAY]

Humax Two Freeview PVRs

Humax will release the new PVR-9300 and PVR-9150T later this month. The former model is a high-end model that features a 320GB hard drive which is enough to store up to 200 hours of recorded programs, and sports HDMI upscaling. The latter model only has a 160GB of storage space. The PVR-9300 and PVR-9150T also come equipped with two built-in digital tuners, so viewers can record two Freeview channels while watching a recorded programme, or watch one Freeview channel while recording another. Both PVRs consume a mere sub-1 watt of power in standby mode. The Humax PVR-9300T and PVR-9150T will retail for £199 and £149.99, respectively. [PocketLint]

Hitachi has announced its new Full HD camera, the DZ-BD10H, which will be available on August 9th in japan for 160,000 Yen ($ 1600). This new camera will feature a 7 Megapixel CMOS sensor, 10X optical zoom lens, 2.7 inch screen, image stabilizer and a brand new technology which can recognize upto 5 face simultaneously and adjust the focusing, exposure etc for best image quality. The onboard 30GB hard drive can accommodate 4 hours 30 minutes of HD video, Blu-Ray takes an hour of recording and a 32GB SDHC card can record 4 hours 25 minutes of full HD video. Pioneer Releases Several New Blu-ray Player in Europe

Pioneer will be dropping several Blu-ray players in Europes. The first being the 2.0-compliant BDP-LX91, Designer BDP-LX08 and BDP-LX71 and the BDP-51FD. All feature 1080p24 support, HDMI 12-Bit Deep Color support, KURO LINK, DTS-HD Master Audio / Dolby True HD compatibility and professional-quality Wolfson Digital Audio Converters (DACs). Ni word on prices for any of them. However, the BDP-LX71 is said to drop in September, the BDP-51FD / BDP-LX08 in October and the BDP-LX91 sometime in the Winter. [Engadget]
