The ATH-A1000X and ATH-A2000X are Audio-Technica’s latest high-end headphones. The ATH-A1000X is a dynamic headphone with an aluminum housing, and 53 driver units. It offers a frequency response of 5Hz-42kHz, an impedance of 42Ω, and sound pressure level of 101dB. Meanwhile, the ATH-A2000X is a higher-end model that provides a frequency response of 5Hz-45kHz, an impedance of 42Ω, a sound pressure level of 101dB, and comes with 53mm drivers. Audio-Technica also introduced the new ATH-FW5 portable headphones, that offer a frequency response of 15Hz-23kHz, an impedance of 30Ω, sound pressure level of 105dB, and 36mm drivers. [iPodnn]

Japan-based Nikon Corporation today introduced their Media Port UP, a multimedia playback headset device that supports Wi-Fi. Nikon tries to combine display screen, headphones, mobile A/V player, Wi-Fi capability, high-capacity memory, and power source in one compact device. Priced at around $587, the Nikon Media Port UP will be available in the form of the high-performance UP300x and the basic UP300. The Nokia Bluetooth BH-504 wireless headphones are compatible with most of Bluetooth enabled handsets. The device adopts echo and noise cancellation for clear conversation and provides up to 7.5 hours of music playback, 9 hours of talk time, or 90 hours of standby time. Nokia also released the wired version of headphones in the form of the over-the-ear WH-500, the in-ear WH-800 and the WH-202s earbuds. The WH-500 has music controls that are located on the wire and provides a 3.5mm audio jack with a 2.5mm adapter. Meanwhile, the WH-202 headphones only has 2.5mm audio jack to connect to the Nokia handsets. Wearing this goggle, you will feel like you were watching a movie on a 39 inch display.
