The Taiwanese company Teclast has decided to enter the e-book reader market by releasing the Teclast K3. The gadget features a 6-inch e-ink display screen and is capable of playing MP3 and MP4 files. Dubbed as the “Talking Portable Library”, the K3 also adopts the Text-To-Speech (TTS) technology allowing the device to read out loud in either Chinese or English language. Too bad, there is no word yet on pricing. [Akihabara]
