According to rumors, Samsung is currently working on its BD-UP5000 “Duo HD Player”. The player will be released in July. The BD-UP5000 “Duo HD Player” will be able to handle HD DVD and Blu-ray discs. It offers HDMI 1.3 output and support for all new audio formats. Other specs include DCDi processing for DVD upscaling and HDMI output at 1080/24p. The estimated price is at around $799 to $999.
