Konarka has successfully developed a range of organic thin-film solar cell modules which are flexible enough to be attached to a bag and used as a power source of an electronic paper. These solar panel modules are exhibited at the 2nd International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo (PV EXPO 2009). The energy conversion efficiency of these super thin solar cells stand at 4% currently within a building. Translucent solar cells are also available from Konarka, and having these on our ceilings and windows will definitely revolutionize the power industry. [TechOn]
