MSI just launched the Wind U123, U123H, and U123T all featuring a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 10-inch LCD screen (1024 x 600 resolution), 1GB of RAM, up to 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a webcam, an optional 3 or 6 cell battery, and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. What makes these netbooks special is the Easy Face Manager function that can scan the face of the user and record facial recognition through eyes, cheekbones, jaw line, and nose detection. The user can then use this to adjust personal security identification with up to ten facial expressions per user. The Wind U123H comes with a built-in 3.5G HSDPA modem, while the Wind U123T is packed with digital TV tuner, and that’s about the only difference between the three. [MSI via Laptop Notebook News]
