Transcend has released a new line-up of solid state drives ‘Extreme Plus 600x-capable CF cards’ for the Korean market. Available in 8GB and 16GB storage capacities, these drives offer a reading speed up to 92MB/s and a writing speed up to 87MB/s. The Extreme Plus series also use a quad-channel controller, via UDMA6 and a Turbo MLC memory to hit the speeds. Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment. [AVING]
