iiyama has introduced two new 27-inch ProLite LCD monitors to its range by announcing the B2712HDS/-B and E2710HDS/-B. Both monitors support a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 5ms response time, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (B2712HDS/-B), 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (E2710HDS/-B) and consume only 45W power during normal operation or just 1W power during standby. They also feature dual 1.5W speakers (B2712HDS/-B), dual 2W speakers (E2710HDS/-B) and offer several connectivity ports including USB, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. The ProLite B2712HDS/-B and E2710HDS/-B are priced at $458 and $435, respectively.
