Universal Remote Control MX-450

Universal Remote Control has recently announced their budget model MX-450. It uses MacroEdit that requires no PC or Internet connection and allows an installer to program and tweak macro commands right on the screen of the remote. The cool-looking 2-inch LCD color display of 176 x 220 pixels has LED backlighting so you have no problem reading in the complete darkness while watching movies. You can have up to 18 devices programmed and customized on three main pages. It and can be connected either by IR or RF. A separately sold URC RF base station is required if you intend to connect with RF. The suggested retail price for MX-450 is $249. [ElectronicHouse]
