Garmin has made its nuvi 1690 navigation gadget official. This GPS navigator will be released later this year for $499.99. You will also benefit from two years subscription of the Garmin nuLink service which consists of useful applications including local Google search, white page listings, real-time traffic and flight status updates, and the Latitude-like Ciao service. The nuvi 1690 will also save you gas and money with ecoRoute. It is a green feature that calculates the most fuel-efficient route, tracks fuel usage and more.
