Word has it that an upgraded version of Aakash Android tablet will be released in April 2012 without any increase in the price. Priced at Rs. 2,000 ($40), the revised version of the tablet features a better display, a faster processor and a longer battery life. The new Aakash provides a 700MHz Cortex A8 processor, a capacitive touchscreen and a 3200mAH battery with three-hour of operation time. Stay tuned for more updates. [The Hindu]
