Verizon is set to launch new 4G LTE-enabled Android 5.1 smartphone from Motorola on their network, the Droid Maxx 2 (a rebranded Moto X Play). This mid-range smartphone will be available from October 29th for a full retail price of $384.
Specs-wise, the Droid Maxx 2 sports a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD IPS display, a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, a 2GB RAM and a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB).
For taking pictures and videos, the handset is packed with a 5MP front-facing camera and a 21MP rear-facing camera with dual LED CCT flash and rapid focus.
Powered by a 3630mAh battery, the Droid Maxx 2 provides 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, GPS with A-GPS and NFC for connectivity, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS (will be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow). [Press Release]
