Vivo hits back by announcing their latest 4G LTE-enabled Android 6.0 smartphone, the Y55L. Measuring 7.5mm thick and weighing 142 grams, this mid-range smartphone packs a 5.2-inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS 2.5D curved-edge display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (4 x 1.2GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor, an Adreno 505 GPU, a 2GB RAM and a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB).
Coming with dual SIM (micro + nano) card slots, the handset sports a 5MP front-facing camera, an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 2650mAh battery. Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Funtouch OS 2.6 on top, the Y55L provides 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS for connectivity.
