The Wavetooth from Brando is claimed as the first IPX8-certified waterproof Bluetooth headset, which means you can leave it underwater for up to 3 meters for at least 24 hours. Priced at $57 a pop, the gadget also adopts the “Noise Rebound” technology, which will enable crystal clear conversation. Measuring 70mm x 120mm x 15mm, the Wavetooth is powered by a 360mAh Li-polymer battery that provides enough juice for 13 hours of talk time or 240 hours of standby time. Each purchase comes equipped with a waterproof bag case, a waterproof earphone, a stereo earphone for music, a neck wire and a USB cable. [Brando]

I’m in America right now, and so far I’m very impressed with the wavetooth. I originally purchased it as a

weatherproof headset for all-year outdoor running, but it will also work very well on my motorcycle as well! I plan

to use it for watersports later next year.

I do have two concerns:
1) the clip on the back. It’s a bit weak, but it is replaced now.
2) the earphones are wonderful, but should I lose them, where would I get ones exactly like them?

I would be greatly relieved it I knew how to replace the clip, but
other than those two concerns, I’m very happy with the wavetooth, and will recommend it to my friends.
