Western Digital (WD) has introduced their latest SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external HDD namely the My Book 3.0. The drive is available in either 1TB or 2TB capacity and provides transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps allowing users to open and save files up to 4.7 times faster than USB 2.0. The drive is also backwards-compatible and will work seamlessly with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. The 1TB version is currently available for pre-order at Amazon for just $149.99 (original price $179.99).
