Western Digital My Passport Essential SE Drive

Western Digital today introduced its new My Passport Essential SE portable USB drives that come in 750GB and 1TB capacities. These USB-powered drives are perfect for saving, storing and backing up all of the digital memories captured this summer. The inclusion of WD Sync software enables users to easily take their desktop content wherever their destination is, where the synchronization of essential personal files and Microsoft Outlook data on a PC is simplified. No worries should one misplace the drive since the data within will take some time to get broken into thanks to 128-bit encryption. Sadly, the software is only compatible with Microsoft Windows OS. Available now at WD’s online store, the 750GB and 1TB models are priced at $199.99 and $299.99, respectively. [Press Release]
