Windows Vista SP1 Beta Released

Microsoft today released the Windows Vista SP1 beta to a private group of testersr. This beta will be available to between 10,000 and 15,000 users, featuring a couple of minor user interface changes and overall responsiveness. Microsoft has promised that SP1 will come with improved performance of Internet Explorer 7, especially for Web sites that run AJAX. The final SP1 will be distributed via Windows Update, and corporate administrator will be able to use a standalone version of SP1.
